Reaching all Learners Workshop

Posted by Ken Zimmerman on Tue, Aug 26, 2014

Come to this interactive event on September 23, 2014 from 8:30 am - 11:30 am to explore the key features built into Apple products for students with special needs. You’ll see how iPad, iPod touch and Mac offer a rich set of accessibility features that can be customized to help diverse learners succeed.

• Discover the accessibility features included on every Mac and how they support a wide range of sensory and learning disabilities.

• Experience the accessibility features of iPad, and see how these tools can break down barriers to learning.

• Explore apps that can help students overcome individual learning hurdles.

• Get examples of how other institutions are successfully using Apple technology with special needs students.

We look forward to hosting this event.  The target audience is for all educators who use Apple products in the classrooms with students.  This session will appeal particularly to teachers who work with students with special needs in addition to any educator who wants to learn more about accessibility options on Apple products.
