In the last couple of years many of our IU 13 districts have started 1:1 initiatives or are in the planning stages of 1:1. Many of you have asked for a forum where everyone can share 1:1 progress, what's working, what's not working, best practices, and future planning ideas. The first meeting has been scheduled this year on Nov. 8, 2013 from 8:30-10:30 am. The invitation to join this meeting is open to all school districts who have begun 1:1 or is in the planning stages of 1:1. Please consider attending whether you are a Tech Coach/Integrator, Online Coordinator, Tech Coordinator/Director, or any other teacher/administrator who is involved in the planning, preparation, and implementation process. Please bring all your questions, information, and topics you would like to explore. We will schedule future meetings at this meeting. Don't forget to register on mlp.
This Fall 2013, we have a variety of workshops free of charge to all our IU13 IMS district members. These workshops are developed for all educators, teachers and administrators, to learn more about some of our Instructional Media Services that we provide through the IMS membership. All four workshops will focus on supporting PA Core and 21st Century Skill Sets maintaining the focus on maximizing student achievement.
In the past, we have distributed IMS teacher packets which included handouts describing each one of our Instructional Media Services. For your convenience, you can now share this post link to all of your educators. Click on the following files in order to view/download the documents. Please keep in mind that these files will be updated throughout this year and the update will replace the following links. Therefore, it is best to share the link to this post rather than download all the files and distribute hard copies. We will keep you posted whenever one of the following files gets updated.
