Happy New Year!  We have some great events planned to help us usher in the New Year this January and February!  Check out the following line up:

• 1/20/15: Tech Media Integrator Meeting - In addition to our Open Spaces, we look forward to having more districts share what they have been working on as well as a presentation from PBS LearningMedia to update us on their resources.
• 1/22/15: MAC OS Workshop - Come to this event to see how iOS 8 and OS X Yosemite provide students and teachers with powerful new ways to access, collaborate on, and share documents across all their devices and apps. You'll also learn how iOS 8 and OS X Yosemite give schools more ways to manage content and devices.
• 1/23/15: Schoology Training - This workshop will focus on workflow, mastery, rubrics, and badges.
• 1/27/15: Rescheduled to 2/18/15 due to weather! Schoology Demo - Are you interested in learning more about Schoology? This training will provide an in-depth demonstration of the Schoology Learning Management System. Learn how your district can use Schoology to improve student learning. You will be provided an in-depth overview of the Enterprise version of Schoology. Please come equipped with questions concerning this new system.
• 2/4/15: StarLabs Training - Have you attended a half day Starlab training yet so that you can register and sign out one of the amazing Starlab systems?  If not, this training is for you!  All educators who want to explore and learn how to use the Starlab must attend one training date to learn how to set up, use, and tear down the Starlab.
• 2/24/15: World Languages Collaboration Day - Are you a World Languages teacher looking for an opportunity to learn and collaborate with other world languages teachers? If so, this day is for you! This World Language Collaboration Day is for all World Languages Teachers to come together to collaborate and learn from one another on a variety of topics. Come prepared to share some ideas that you implement and be willing to listen to ideas of other implementations of second language acquisition.
• 2/27/15: 1:1 Forum - This is a forum for technology coordinators, technology integrators and curriculum coordinators whose districts are participating in a 1:1 initiative. The purpose of this forum is to discuss best practices, troubleshooting and success stories. The format for this meeting will be Open Spaces discussions around topics that were suggested at the initial 1:1 Initiative Forum.
