We are pleased to announce that our upcoming presentation AND poster sessions are now posted for both our Elementary and Secondary Technology Conferences at Lancaster-Lebanon Intermediate Unit 13. Our conference's theme this year is "Engage Learning" focusing on how to engage, motivate, and excite student learners in today's world. Choose from a variety of sessions on instructional best practices, blended to personalized learning, gamification tools/resources and so much more. Sessions will present ideas for maximizing student learning & teaching efficiencies through the use of technology integrations in general and specific k12 content uses.
This year's Keynote is Director of Innovation for Future Ready Schools (Project of the Alliance for Excellent Educated in Washington, DC), Tom Murray. He has testified before the United States Congress and works alongside that body and the US Senate, the White House, the US Department of Education and state departments of education, corporations, and school districts throughout the country to implement student-centered, personalized learning while helping to lead Future Ready and Digital Learning Day. Murray serves as a regular conference keynote, was named one of “20 to Watch” by NSBA, the “Education Policy Person of the Year” by the Academy of Arts and Sciences in 2015 and “Education Thought Leader of the Year” in 2017. His latest book, Learning Transformed, was released in 2017 with ASCD. Tom will provide a double-header follow-up session for Teacher Leaders, Administrators, Department Chairs/Supervisors, etc. focusing on "Learning Transformed: 8 Keys to Designing Tomorrow's Schools, Today".
