The submission window for the 2022 Fluor Challenge opens February 20 during Engineers Week. We are already seeing exciting student engineering underway as students work on designing, building, and testing their paper ball runs! On the fence about trying the Fluor Challenge? Do it! Our 7 Steps to Success post breaks down the process from start to finish. We've got lessons, worksheets, and videos to help. With simple materials (just paper and tape) and a challenge that is fun for all ages, the Paper Ball Run Challenge is one you can easily do with students. They'll be using the engineering design process, practicing teamwork and troubleshooting skills, and exploring the physics of forces of motion, kinematics, types of energy, and simple machines. |

Blog Contest :
Why let the awesome lessons you just used or observed go to waste? For this year's contest, we are asking you to share lesson photos, and the lesson you used along with any lesson support materials with us using this Google Form!
Those who share a photo along with the lesson plan will be entered in our monthly drawing for a chance to win a lesson with Giovanna. Together you will plan a lesson for your students focusing on the content of your choice.
“THANK YOU!” for all you do for our students at IU13.👍
