Thank you Letter from Charity:water

Last year our IU13 Centerbased teacher, Ms. Andi Fellows, work with our emotional support students located at the four IU13 centers to learn about water conservation and how some places do not have water as accessible as we do. Through their lessons the students created Rain Barrels to sell and raised $1,225.00. Last week Ms. Fellows received a thank you letter from the organziation. Hats off to our students for such an amazing gift of water they provided to an estimated 31 people.

STEM/STEAM Day falls on November 8. There’s no way around it: children are significantly better off with strong science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics skills. That’s why STEM and STEAM education programs are so important. It’s understandable that these subjects push society forward, and these programs help to find fun and engaging ways to teach them to students, which is all worth commemorating.
