STEM Showdown

Posted by Lori Blantz on Nov 26, 2024 7:30:00 AM

Hello Our MDS and DHH STEM teacher Melissa Myer shared with me this opportunity . You can share out this with your parents if you have that one student or students that love this kind of opportunity that they can do with their families. However, you can also do the 4 STEM challenges in your room with your students to teacher communication, teamwork, math and reading skills and creativity.

If your students can’t visit the Lancaster Science Factory  for a workshop, you can still help them qualify for the Lancaster STEM Showdown!  Or just take these great resources and add them to your collection of lessons and do during your classroom time !

Resources for Teachers

Teachers who would like their students to qualify for the STEM Showdown may also download our instruction guides which provide a lesson outline on each activity.  Instruction guides also include sign-up flyers to provide to each student after they complete the workshop.
