This resource is a great way to introduce stream studies and practice them before going to a stream as well as to be able to bring similar learning to the classroom if you are unable to visit a stream or do a real leaf pack study at this time! It is also a great way to ease into environmental education activities like this if you are new to this and aren’t ready to teach lessons with real creatures just yet.
