2022 Fluor STEM Challenge *** UPDATE***

Posted by Lori Blantz on Mar 17, 2022 2:34:16 PM

The 2022 Fluor Challenge Closes Sunday, March 20!

Please let Giovanna and I know if you did this challege and entered !!  Thanks

This message below is from Science Buddies regarding the Fluor Challenge

Hundreds of Paper Ball Runs have already been submitted for this year's Fluor Challenge. Students around the world have taken the challenge to build a Paper Ball Run and find ways to "slow the roll."

There are still a few days left to enter your students' submissions for a chance to win money for your school or organization!*

Do the Paper Ball Run Challenge

This year's challenge uses paper, tape, and a ping pong ball. There is still time for your students to design, build, test, and submit their ball runs!

Are your students still tinkering with their designs? It's time to calculate the final scores and get the entries in. This challenge is all about trying engineering! Whatever the score turns out to be, students can still enter their solutions.

You Can't Win If You Don't Enter

Prizes for the Fluor Challenge are awarded based on random drawings rather than scores. Every team should submit their ball run!

All complete submissions in listed geographic locations* will be entered in random drawings for a chance to win $1,000 (USD) for the team's school or organization. $10,000 (USD) will be awarded.

To submit your students' entries, use the online submission form.

Submissions for the Fluor Challenge will be accepted through Sunday, March 20, 2022.
