I am very excited about our Discovery Education summer PD session on August 3, 2023. This is one session you will not want to miss. I just finished connecting with our DE trainer that will be facilitating the session. That is corret...this session will be facilitated by a DE trainer and will be designed for Special Education educators. I told her all about our programs and how some use the DE resources to share infront of the room whole group, and some assign directly to students. This will be a learn and explore session where we will be taking time to dive into the program between learning about Ready to use Activities, Studio Boards, Career Exploration, Virtual Field Trips, SEL actiivites, and a whole lot more!

Congratulations to Sarah Fischer for being our April Blog contest winner for this school year. She was among 13 other IU13 staff members that submitted pictures of their students completing STEM activities in their classroom. Click below on the link or image for yesterday's live drawing. Please keep sending pictures; our final drawing will be on May 24th.

Today a special shout out goes to Kristyn Whisman, ES teacher at our IU13 CEC Fairland building. Kristryn shared since forever, she has been doing daily grammar exercises. Kristyn found a website to find information to use for her sentences that need correcting. The website is Britannica. She wrote to me today stating she tried "the quizzes" that they include with their "on this day" blurb. I did the one on Guess the Sport! Pretty interesting! Check it out with your students. Great conversations to have with them and educational! Thanks Kristyn for your message to me and sharing this resource.
