Posted by Lori Blantz on Aug 29, 2023 7:30:00 AM

Starting this 23-24 school year Acellus is offering two new courses for HS students.

AP World History: Modern Acellus has now published AP World History: Modern, taught by Todd Edmond. In this course, students will explore major historical themes and develop skills necessary to analyze documented events and developments. Throughout the curriculum, learners will analyze causation, study different cultures and civilizations, compare and contrast societies, and examine the interconnectedness of historical events. By the end of the class, scholars will have gained a comprehensive understanding of world history and the ability to analyze and interpret historical phenomena.

English II  Acellus has just announced a new course release: English II. Taught by Acellus Instructor Shanelle Smith, this curriculum is designed to deepen students’ understanding and appreciation of literature while developing their language and communication skills. Through the comprehensive and diverse range of texts and activities in this course, students will not only enhance their reading, writing, and critical thinking abilities but also develop a deeper understanding of the power of language and its role in literature and persuasive communication
