Learn things like:

  • How do I get my free account?

This is not an IU-licensed tool. But, you can access the tool for free by logging in with your Google Account. 

  • How many students can I have rostered on the free account?

35 students

  • Can I differentiate assignments for my students? 

Although the setup asks you to select a starting point for your class, don’t worry. From 

the assignments tab you can reposition your students’ by grade, mission, and topic.

  • What grades does Zearn support? 

Grades K-7th grade

  • How can Zearn be used in the classroom?

Zearn is designed to be flexible. You can use Zearn to teach your students in a blended format using the Zearn materials, or you can select topics to support the core curriculum you already teach. 

  • Can students work at their own pace? 

Yes! As you view student reports you can also determine how to support and reposition your students. “Boost” videos are shown during the course to help support the student if they are struggling.  

  • Why use Zearn? 

The site boasts to show 2-3x the learning gains with 3+ digital lessons per week.
