Join the 2023 Summer STEM Educator Externship!

This opportunity offers Lancaster County educators, pre-service educators, university faculty,  coaches, counselors, career liaisons, etc. an exciting work-embedded professional learning experience.  This event helps educators better prepare and equip students to enter an ever-changing workforce by providing hands-on exposure to the expectations and needs of some of the largest employers within the county.  What is an externship and what can you expect?  Check out this video from the previous summer educator externship at CNHi!  CNHi Externship Video

See first-hand the knowledge, skills and dispositions needed for success in a fast growing, innovative business right here in Lancaster County.  Engage in 2-days of hands-on learning with a company that is putting items into space through collaborative projects with NASA, and designing and building products that protect our country in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Defense.  Details:

  • Date: August 8-9, 2023  8:30 AM-3:00 PM
  • Location: Advanced Cooling Technologies, Inc (ACT)- Burle Business Park 1046 New Holland Ave Building 2, Lancaster, PA 17601
  • Audience:  Educators (please note, the content will be more aligned with middle school and high school level material)
  • Lunch: Provided, as well as 12 Act 48 hours.
