Readworks summer packets for students

Posted by Lori Blantz on May 25, 2022 9:55:23 AM

Hello Teachers!

As many of you prepare to wrap up your school year, check out Readworks.org. They have released summer packets for students entering the next grade so they can be engaged in learning all summer long. Many of you already use Read Works, but for those of you who don’t, please check out this resource!

Read Works has the following benefits:

-It is free

-Teachers can create classes

-Stories can be assigned to individual students or a class (students use their Google Accounts and your class code to join)

-Stories can be read to the student and students can read along

-Stories and question sets can be completed online or printed

-Teachers can search for specific content and grade levels

If you have any questions please reach out!

Thanks,
Giovanna

Blog Contest :

Why let the awesome lessons you just used or observed go to waste? For this year's contest, we are asking you to share lesson photos, and the lesson you used along with any lesson support materials with us using this Google Form!

Those who share a photo along with the lesson plan will be entered in our monthly drawing for a chance to win a lesson with Giovanna. Together you will plan a lesson for your students focusing on the content of your choice.

“THANK YOU!” for all you do for our students at IU13.👍
