With simple materials (just paper and tape) and a challenge that is fun for all ages, the Paper Ball Run Challenge is one you can easily do with students. They'll be using the engineering design process, practicing teamwork and troubleshooting skills, and exploring the physics of forces of motion, kinematics, types of energy, and simple machines. |
