New! AI Literacy Lessons for Grades 6–12

Read below to learn more about the new AI Literacy Lessons!

Artificial Intelligence is everywhere—from voice assistants to creative tools—and our students deserve to understand how it works and how it impacts their lives.

That’s why Common Sense Education has launched a new collection of AI Literacy Lessons for grades 6–12. Each lesson takes 20 minutes or less, making it easy to fit into any schedule while sparking big conversations about technology, ethics, and critical thinking.

Why it matters:

  • Quick & flexible: Minimal prep, maximum impact.

  • Critical thinking: Students explore how AI works and how it shapes society.

  • Ethical lens: Lessons highlight fairness, bias, and responsible use.
