ECSES-STEM Makerspace - Use our materials for your STEM Lessons

Posted by Lori Blantz on Sep 21, 2020 7:30:00 AM

Hello Everyone!

As you start to feel ready to kick-off STEM lessons in your classroom we wanted to remind you about our ECSES-STEM Makerspace and ways we want to help you! Our ECSES-STEM Makerspace offers materials for you to use for STEM lessons. All you have to do is:

1. Browse our inventory sheet

2. Fill out a Google Form

3. Wait for your materials to be delivered

4. You will be all set!

In an effort to support you and your students, we have provided three variations of the same lesson that use materials right from our ECSES-STEM Makerspace. Please view each lesson to see which best fits the needs of your students. Each example is no more than 5 minutes.

*Please note: These lessons will be showcased live during the week of Oct. 5th from our ECSES STEM STUDIO 108. Stay tuned for our upcoming blog “Planting the seeds for STEM in ECSES” on September 23rd!

Middle/High School

Upper and Lower Elementary

Early Intervention

These lessons can be found in our ECSES-STEM Google Classroom that we showcased in our September 1st blog post.

If you are interested in learning more about the resources available or would like to get started please email us at ECSES-IT@iu13.org and we will add you to the class! Lori Blantz and Giovanna Chamberlain (ECSES Instructional IT and STEM Team)

Good Luck!  Please have the essays sent to lori_blantz@iu13.org 👍
