Congratulations to our Newest KTI nominees

Posted by Lori Blantz on Feb 15, 2022 7:45:00 AM

Every year in February nominees are selected by principals (supervisors) from schools around PA. The Keystones Technology Innovators (KTI) is a state-wide program that celebrates model teachers throughout Pennsylvania. These teachers bring new ideas, best practices and innovative ways of innovating with technology to capture the imaginations of students in classrooms.

I am proud to announce that two IU staff members, Kristyn Whisman, teacher at Mulberry Street and Andrea Fellows, teacher at Central Education Center (CEC) were nominated this year. Along with the nomination they are invited to apply for a week-long Summit in July to learn new innovative ways to teach their students.

Kristyn and Andrea both applied for the summer Summit. They will have to wait and see the outcome. Through a rigorous selection process, only 100 Keystones will be selected by PAECT regional teams to attend the week-long Summit. Best of luck to both of them!!

Congratulations to Kristyn and Andrea as Keystones STARS (State Technology Advocates Redefining Schools) are influential within their schools when it comes to teaching and learning.
