Congratulations : February Contest Winner

Congratulations goes out to Carol Kline, SEC at Fairland.  She had the winning essay submitted for this month's Crayola’s Color Alive System. In her essay she shared her plans to use the Crayola coloring program as a supplement to the social skills program- (Superheros Social Skills) - the support team is using at Fairland.

Spotlight:  5th Contest is here. This month I am giving away some really cool coloring books that "Come Alive" with the iPad. color alive how it works These coloring books are by Crayola: Color Alive. Students color the pages, then scan them on the iPad using the Color Alive App, and interact with the colored creation. IronmanTrialPage and ElsaTrialPage are two trial pages. I will be giving out several books so there will be more than one winner this month. The coloring books range from Mythical Creatures, Avengers, Enchanted Forest, Frozen, Skylanders. If your essay is chosen you can chose your book or books depending on the number of entries.  You might say that coloring is for very young. You are incorrect, coloring is very therapeutic and for all. If you are interested in winning this for your classroom here are the rules: Write a 100 word or less essay on how you would use this instructional tool with students and email to lori_blantz@iu13.org by February 11th. Winner announced on February 15th.
