If so, check out the California Academy of Sciences resources!!

(Grades K-12)

Click here or the image above to learn more about the resources offered by California Academy of Sciences!

Learn things like:

  • Where can I find free engaging science lessons for my students?

Go to https://www.calacademy.org/

  • What grade levels of science  can I expect to find?

K-12th grade!

  • What makes this site so special?

Many of the lessons provide the opportunity for the students to experience a hands-on learning approach. Imagine  learning about fossil fuels through chocolate chip mining, or building coral polyps with bananas, crackers, and licorice, or color vision genetics with post-it notes and pennies.

  • What else does this site offer?

Additional resources like their Science Video Vault helps students visualize and understand science concepts. Science Films for the Classroom provides students with an indepth look at science topics, and their Science Notebook Corner offers strategies on how to bring notebooking for science into the classroom. The site offers even more than these resources, check it out and explore!
