AI Feature in NearPod- time saver

Posted by Lori Blantz on Sep 22, 2025 7:30:00 AM

NearPod’s AI Feature

I love learning from others: I received an email from Angi Meyer, one of our MDS teachers stating the following:Have you gone into Nearpod lately????  There is an AI component now.  You can type a few sentences and it generates a nearpod lesson for you.  I tried it for “fall leaves.”  You can also ask it to “include an experiment.”  I am kind of blown away by this.  It was accurate – I checked and it even made a Time to Climb Game for me!!!!  What a time saver.”

Thank you Angi. I then did some research and found this video below on their new AI feature and wanted to share out with everyone. NearPod is a paid license for our professionals.

How Nearpod puts teachers at the center of AI innovation

Learn things like:

  • What are the new AI features for NearPod?

Check out the video above!

  • How can I get a NearPod Account if I do not have one?

Go to our IU13 Help Desk and put in a ticket under STEM and Instructional Technology

and then go to Paid Teacher Licenses. Provide the specifics and we will set up any

professional staff with an account.

  • Do I need to use NearPod with student devices ?

No, you can use it as a teacher tool, or provide the student link to the students to do on

their iPads or Chromebooks.

  • How do I find the link to the Help Desk or NearPod?

Go to CLEVER   and go to IU13 Sites or Classroom Sites.
