Rubber Band Contest

The Rubber Band Contest for Young Inventors

The challenge: to design and create a working invention/artwork that incorporates at least 1 rubber band. 

Students choose to compete in one of two divisions: 1) Arts & Leisure Division; or 2) Science & Engineering Division. All inventions/artworks must be original.

Important Details

• The contest is open now!
• Students in grades 5-8 may participate
• Individual projects only
• Submissions must be received by mail by February 24th, 2023
• A completed entry form, a photograph of the project, and a 4-paragraph essay are required 
• Finalists must complete a video, then First Place and Runners-up will be announced.
• Prizes from $75-$200, trophies, and t-shirts!
