Blog for February

Here are some Valentine STEM lessons. The first lesson focuses on balance. It came from a lesson I found online. For this lesson you need conversation heart candy, Dixie© cups, and craft sticks.

To access the Google Slide for this lesson, click on this link for an upper level version, and this link for a lower level version. You are always able to “Make a Copy” and edit to for your students’ needs. Please create a journal based on the ability of your students or use this one. Remember, a journal can be a blank page where students draw or write their hypothesis or design plan. The next lesson was shared with me by Lee Ann Reardon, AS teacher. She found this free lesson on TPT.

Congratulations goes out to Tami Snyder - Speech and Language Therapist - for winning February’s Blog Contest! She has won Kadoodle and Super Sleuth to use with her students.

Finally – New Blog Contest is posted on the right. The company that creates OSMOs provided me two free bases. You can write your essay for one or two of them!
