So you wear to many hats? Not an uncommon problem among today's school administrators, So when you have to put on that very important safety and security hat how do you really give it justice? How do you find meaningful training that doesn't consume your precious time to prepare and deliver? How do you find a reliable source of safety and security information that isn't trying to also sell you a new "must have" widget to solve all your safety and security problems? We think we have a solution for you. After all you are an expert eductor not an expert at safety and security.
Starting this year IU13 is offering a safety and security cohort. This cohort operates very simply. Your school or district pay a one time annual subscription fee for the school year. Each month you will log into our web site and download simple and easy to understand training guides and support documents for your staff. These resources are intended for building principals to share 10-15 minutes of meaningful safety and security training with their staff each month with little preparation on their part. In addition subscribing schools receive a free vulnerability study on one of their buildings each year (a $1,200 value) and a free 1/2 day training session conducted by John Baker (a $450 value) along with some other great benefits.
So how do you sign-up? For the 2017-18 school year this program is being offered to all public and private schools within Lancaster and Lebanon Counties. Just email John Baker at johnr_baker@iu13.org for more information.
By the way this cohort does not replace the free fall and spring safe schools focus group meetings held by IU13 so even if you don't join the cohort feel free to attend our bi-annual meetings.
