It seems like every day there is another email or a new piece of junk mail in the inbox advertising the latest safety or security product for schools. On top of everything else you do as an administrator or educator, finding the time to sort through this pile of material can become overwhelming. That is where I come in.
Twice a year the IU13 hosts a fall and spring Safe Schools Focus Group. While we spend a fair amount of time networking and discussing common challenges, we always try to provide an opportunity for quality, affordable and practical solution based vendors to share what they can offer us. This spring's meeting on March 14th will be just that. Literally out of hundreds of vendors we have chosen four of them to come and speak for 20 minutes each. I encourage you to attend either our Lancaster (starting at 8:30am) or Lebanon (starting at 1:00pm) based meetings on the 14th. The meeting will last about 2 hours and during that time you will hear from leaders in their field of expertise and discuss what is happening in school safety and security today. If you want more information email me at email@example.com and I will send you all the details. This is a free program available to both private and public schools and institutions.
Until then, this is John Baker for safetysolutions4schools.com
