Qualities and Qualifications
Lancaster-Lebanon Intermediate Unit 13 (IU13) is seeking a highly-effective leader to serve as the next Director of Operations. The ideal candidate will be an outstanding collaborator and communicator, engaging with all stakeholders, and focused on the effective delivery of services to member school districts, nonpublic schools, and external partners while maintaining full compliance with Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) requirements and all applicable laws.
Desired experience includes:
- 10+ years of leadership experience in operations and budgeting, human resources, or public education administration; experience within an Intermediate Unit or multi-district environment preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Pennsylvania public education systems, including PDE reporting, PIMS, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience managing ERP systems, financial operations, and HRIS platforms.
- Proven expertise in labor relations, compliance, and organizational leadership.

Timeline & Process
The successful candidate is anticipated to be selected in Summer 2026 with a start date to be mutually determined between the candidate and IU13.
Application Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Human Resources, Education, or related field required.
- 10+ plus years of proven leadership experience in operations, human resources, or public education administration
- Successful applicants must pass extensive background checks as required by state and federal law.
