Code.Org Workshop

This full day workshop will prepare classroom teachers to use code.org resources with their students. Digital Learning Day & Hour of Code

DLD_buttonWe are looking forward to celebrating National Digital Learning Day #DLDay on March 13, 2015.  Although that may seem a long time away, the way we are celebrating in PA will occur much sooner!  This year, PA through PAIMS (Pennsylvania Instructional Media Services) has decided to celebrate National Digital Learning Day through participation in the Hour of Code during Computer Science Education Week December 8-14, 2014.

Hour of Code

Computer Science Education Week is December 9-15, 2013.  In order to celebrate this year, The Hour of Code 2013 has begun!  The mission: Introduce 10 million students to coding in a one hour session ages 6-106.  Several school districts in our IU13 have already registered full k-12 classes in Math and Computers to take one hour during this week to introduce this to their students.  Check out the video for more details:
