Last week, I was at Pennsylvania Educational Technology Expo and Conference (PETE&C) in Pittsburgh and came back with many new learning opportunities to share with everyone. Giovanna and I will be offering summer learning opportunities on several of the topics. Click on this link to see the session titles and dates.

To stick with my plan of providing 2 STEM lessons a month, here is my first one for March that is related to Engineering and Design. The task is to build a trap for a Leprechaun. To access the Google Slide for this lesson, click on this link. There are comments for instruction in the notes section of the slides. You are always able to “Make a Copy” and edit it for your students’ needs. Please create a journal based on the ability of your students. Remember, a journal can be a blank page where students draw or write their hypothesis or design plan.

We did not have a winner for the February Blog Contest because we did not have any essays submitted. I am going to keep that prize up for March but also add a Sphero Spk to the choices. Please look at the New Blog Contest which is posted on the right. You can write your essay for one or two of them!
