More Snow, But MARS Landing still occuring

Snow won't stop the Mars Rover - Perseverance. What an appropriate name!

    1. Discovery Education and NASA- Join them for the #Countdown to Mars.: Today , Thursday February 18th at 2:15pm will be the live landing broadcast: Perseverance Rover Lands on Mars. You are still able to register, here is the link.  This livestream will feature insights from NASA experts, the Perseverance mission control team, and the real-time touchdown! You don’t want to miss this. 
  • Space Science and the Mars Rover Landing: This is a big month For space science! The Perseverance Rover is scheduled to land on Mars today February 18th. The Rover launched last summer as part of NASA's Mars 2020 Mission. Perseverance's primary mission is to collect evidence, like rock and soil samples, to help scientists determine if there's ever been life on Mars. Check out this link as Science Buddies has put together a handy collection of stem ideas to help you connect today’s rover landing to your classroom instruction.  Check this out you won't want to miss it.
  • I have been told that this will be recorded as well and then the recording added to DE and/or sent to the staff that registered. Make sure you register even if you plan on watching the recording.
