Sample Intro Video for Dance Party AI

Here’s a summary of Hour of AI activities by grade level based on Code.org resources:

The Hour of AI 

K–5 (Elementary)

  • AI for Oceans: Train a machine learning model to identify sea creatures and trash, introducing basic AI concepts.
  • Dance Party: AI Edition: Create a virtual dance party while learning about AI and coding basics.
  • How AI Makes Decisions: Simple activities to show how AI uses data to make predictions.

6–8 (Middle School)

  • Minecraft: Generation AI: Code AI-powered inventions using MakeCode blocks or Python in Minecraft Education.
  • Music Lab: Jam Session: Remix tracks and generate beats with AI while learning sequencing and functions.
  • Generative AI for Humanities: Explore ethical and creative uses of AI in writing and research.

9–12 (High School)

  • AI Foundations: A flexible curriculum introducing core AI principles and real-world applications.
  • Coding with AI: Learn how AI can assist in coding, debugging, and algorithm design.
  • Exploring Generative AI: Hands-on projects and discussions about ethics and innovation in AI.
