Acellus- if your program uses Acellus for instructional purposes there are some updates I want to share with you.
1. New 4th Grade Math -
A new Acellus 4th Grade Math course has just been released. Taught by Acellus Instructor Mark Rogers, this course enables students to explore elementary math in an engaging and interactive way. This elementary course is designed to empower students with foundational skills in mathematics, placing emphasis on multi-digit multiplication and division, fractions, and understanding of geometric figures.
Acellus has just released a new version of Biology for high school. In this course Acellus Instructor Levi Goes provides students with an introduction to the study of life. Students explore DNA, cells, organisms, and ecosystems.
This course covers the requirements for life all over the globe and the interactions between living and non-living matter. Students will learn about the evolution of organisms and how genes are passed on through generations.
3. New Robotics Dance Programming-
A specialized mini robotics course has just been released to schools using Acellus. This course is designed to deliver the perfect initial exposure for any student interested in robotics and coding. Students are able to immediately program the Acellus Robot AC-D2 to dance using simple coding blocks. I have a few of the AC-D2 Robots if you are interesting in trying out with your class.
4. The Art of Teaching over the Internet-
Read this Blog post by Acellus Chairman Dr. Roger Billings on how to master all the Acellus Distance Learning Resources.
This course begins by exploring the properties and states of matter and mixtures. Next, forms of energy, its transference, and insulators will be discussed, followed by magnetic properties, soils, and the various impacts to land, resources, and climate. There are also lessons in the water cycle, Earth patterns, and food life science.
