This program of The Eviction Prevention Network (EPN) is available to assist tenants who have lost a job or have had substantial loss of income due to COVID-19 by:
- Making direct payments to landlords and can include past due rent.
- Supporting landlord/tenant requests for rental assistance from March 2020 moving forward.
- Providing assistance up to 6 months for pay back and future rent and utility payments.
This program is supported through public and private funding sources and subject to change. The goal is to provide a continuum of funding to renters in need during the pandemic and does not have an end date but is subject to change. For walk-in food distributions, come to the Food Hub at 812 N. Queen Street in Lancaster Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 9:30am to 11:45am. Food items you will receive: Milk, a bag of dry items, meat, an assortment of fresh items.
- First visit: you need to bring a photo ID for yourself as well as your Social Security card.
- If you are also coming for clothing for your children, you will need to bring a medical card or birth certificate and Social Security card for each of your children.
- You can come once a month, 12 months a year. Only need one head of household photo ID after initial visit.

RRTA Will Resume Collecting Fares on Monday, August 10, 2020.
RRTA will begin collecting fares on all RRTA bus routes. RRTA suspended collecting fares on March 23rd and asked customers to follow a Rear Door Entry policy.
Covid-19 Safety: installed plastic shield barriers at the driver area on the bus for protection when customers board and pay. Masks federally required for all riders.
In 2021, RRTA riders will be able to board the bus from the front door and exit from the rear door to help create a one-way entrance and exit flow to help with social distancing. Customers in wheelchairs or who have mobility needs can enter and exit through the front door where the wheelchair ramp and kneeler are located.
